The successful candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following:

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQs), cost estimates, and tender documents.
  • Conducting project cost planning, budgeting, and financial forecasting.
  • Measuring and valuing construction works.
  • Preparing interim valuations, payment certificates, and final accounts.
  • Monitoring project costs and ensuring expenditures remain within approved budgets.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Economics, or a related field.
  • Membership with a relevant professional body will be an added advantage.
  • A minimum of 1 year practical experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of construction contracts, procurement procedures, and cost management.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and quantity surveying software.
  • Excellent analytical, numerical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
